For Burma, For Peace!

Free Burma!

The protest in Burma has been going on for a while now. The Buddhist monks are continuously walking for their peace, justice and freedom. Let us join them in praying for the people of Burma, and especially that this uprising protest will not result in more bloodshed and pain.

A simple three line poem from late Tin Moe, one of Burma’s well known poets who loved freedom and peace. But the great poet himself was at a loss for words when he saw his poem etched on a prison wall by an unknown inmate:

Cigar’s burnt down
The sun is brown

Will somebody take me home?
